This six-month co-op sits within the Manufacturing Specialist department supporting direct manufacture of biopharmaceutical bulk drug substance for commercial and clinical use.
The Manufacturing Specialist Co-op joins a high performing team delivering supply of GSK products to the One Biopharm supply chain. Responsibilities include managing GMP documentation, inventory of raw materials and single-use components, owning continuous improvement initiatives, and participating in manufacturing investigations.
The Production organization comprises manufacturing associates, supervisors, managers, and specialists supporting all Production activities. Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Natural Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the 6 month co-op (June ~ December 2026)
- Active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (preferred)
- Technically oriented with prior experience in biopharmaceutical operations via coursework, lab work, or industrial experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and initiative to learn and engage with process subject matter experts
- Ability to follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and work in a highly regulated environment
- Successfully pass a drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- Deliver supply of GSK products to the One Biopharm supply chain
