About this role

You lead the strategic build-up and scaling of a new product category with end-to-end responsibility, from idea to successful international market launch. Develop and implement a future-proof supplier and partnership strategy, proactively expanding strategic cooperations. Conceive a differentiating, brand-typical, and regulatory-compliant product portfolio for global rollout.

Define and execute an integrated launch strategy, including communication and activation plans. Create, steer, and continuously develop robust business cases with KPI definition, performance tracking, and results monitoring. Conduct regular market and competitor analyses to derive forward-looking action recommendations for category development.

Act as central interface and steering function in cross-functional collaboration with international sales companies, procurement, development, sales, controlling, regulatory affairs, and adjacent marketing functions. Prepare management presentations and strategic decision documents for senior management and stakeholders. Manage budget and results responsibility, monitoring key financial figures.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree (Diplom or Master), ideally with business administration focus
  • Long professional experience in marketing of consumer goods, ideally family-owned company in food, nutritional supplements, or OTC products
  • Proven experience leading interdisciplinary project teams and managing complex stakeholder structures
  • Knowledge in implementing short-, medium-, and long-term marketing plans, new product developments, and international launches
  • Deep marketing generalist competencies across the marketing mix: product and portfolio development, brand positioning, pricing, and integrated campaigns
  • Independent working style, solution-oriented approach, entrepreneurial thinking, and foresight
  • Strong communication skills, empathy for stakeholder needs, and ability to convince and inspire audiences
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; negotiation-level German and English in spoken and written
